Dee Jeffreys reviewed Darlene’s Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. September 2024
User-submitted image of completed recipe
A keeper! Great flavors Easy to follow Worth the effort Crowd-pleaser
I made these for a party and everyone loved them. I was out of raisins so simply made Oatmeal Cookies. The recipe was simple but amazing. I chilled the dough balls prior to backing for about 10 minutes and they didn't spread as much as some do. My only addition was 1/4 tsp nutmeg. My family simply likes the taste.

Dee Jeffreys reviewed Maplebird’s Butternut Squash Soup. 11/17/2023
I made this soup last night and it was amazing! I was about to roast the squash first but decided to go exactly by the recipe the first time. It was layered with flavors, easy to make and a wonderful meal for me and my husband. I used a butternut and the picture of the soup shows bay leaves, however the ingredient list does not list them so I didn't add them to the mix.I am going to make the soup for Thanksgiving and will roast the squash but otherwise follow the recipe. Make this for your friends or family and you will be asked for the recipe.

Dee Jeffreys reviewed EVANSDL’s Pecan Praline Cookies Recipe. 12/22/2020
We have made these cookies for years. I always place a copy of the recipe with the cookies when I give them because every person who has received them asks for it.

Dee Jeffreys reviewed CHESSETTE’s Hot Cranberry Citrus Punch Recipe. 01/27/2017
This recipe is extremely easy but proves that simple can be delicious. I cut the recipe in half, but still had 1/4 cup of each sugar. This recipe made it into my book! I'll make it often in the winter.

Dee Jeffreys reviewed Kim’s Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball. 03/11/2016
This is dreamy. I took this to a party and everyone there, men and women asked for the recipe. Make it and they will eat it. I have used sharp cheddar, gouda, and other cheeses also. I melt my chips then swirl them into the cheese. I like the texture better and never have any to bring home after a party.
